About – Department of Paramedical

The Department of Paramedical was launched with the guiding philosophy of creation of knowledge, influencing paramedical practices and integrating them globally. Blending traditional knowledge with modern theories and practices, the courses offered embody the University's commitment to leadership in research and innovation in higher education. The curriculum for each individual course has been designed according to mp paramedical council through perfect blend of inputs from renowned academicians and practitioners who are a part of our academic advisory board. The structure of the paramedical studies in this department provides real in depth knowledge, practical knowhow, expert guidance, research & skill driven environment and most modern ICT loaded learning facilities. The academicians at the University are of the highest global caliber and are committed to excellence in teaching and learning. The curriculum arms a student with three Ds - Decision to take right path, Dedication to march with zeal and Determination to succeed with flying colors. The Department would work towards nurturing future young physiotherapists & technicians capable of making a difference in the academics & clinical sectors. The Department of Paramedical would also be working on inculcating human values and professional ethics in the students, which would help them in taking decisions and creating paths which will be good not only for them, but also for the society as well. Research and consultancy work by the faculty not only adds up to the knowledge base, but also contributing to the patients and the society.

Functional movement is a key part of any one’s life and Physiotherapy plays a key role in helping people to improve their quality of life. Bachelor of Physiotherapy is four and a half year full time Programme at AISECT UNIVERSITY, where students will be trained to work with people to identify and maximize their ability to move and perform various functions. Students at AISECT UNIVERSITY, through intense clinical exposure, will be provided with systematic Physiotherapy education in theory as well as practical with an emphasis on clear concepts and basics.

Some of the major areas that will be covered Anatomy, Physiology & Bio-Chemistry, Bio-Mechanics, Pharmacology, Pathology & Microbiology, Exercise & Electro Therapy, Role of Physiotherapy in various conditions related to Orthopaedics, Neurology, Cardiopulmonary, Sports and Community Based Rehabilitation.


Physiotherapists play an integral part in the healthcare sector and hence are required in all hospitals.

Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology is a 2-year diploma programme designed to impart experiential learning to the students in order to develop a desired work force to combat ever increasing demand of medical lab technicians in the healthcare sector. The programme is designed with specific inputs from industry experts, based on the latest technologies available and in practice, for individuals interested in entering the field of clinical laboratory science. This programme will cover all aspect of clinical lab analysis including analysis of body matter, Haematology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Serology and Blood Banking etc. Students will also learn operations of advanced lab equipments used for providing various laboratory tests reports.
